Monochrome Maxi Dress

Dress - £20  Asos
Heels - Primark (Similar)

I feel like I haven't dressed up in ages, with to much to do and no time to go out other than to work.  I literally wore my hair in a bun for more than a week because I didn't have time to comb it, I know you ladies do this too haha

I wore this gorgeous dress to my cousins birthday dinner yesterday.  I love how figure hugging this dress is, yet still classy and sexy.  I'm definitely going to get many wears out of it.

Happy New year guys! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.  I spent Christmas in Germany with my aunt and uncle.  I got home just before new years eve and in true granny style I feel asleep just after the countdown!  But it felt nice waking up in the new year without a hangover.  I stuffed my face over the holidays and now looking at my chubby cheeks in these pictures, I have some work to do at the gym!

The weather was freezing on Sunday when I took these pictures, so I wanted to style my scarf as part of my outfit, I love how it turned out.  I also get compliments on this scarf all the time, it was a great buy from primani a couple of years ago and still going strong.

Burgundy Hues

 Skirt - Forever21
Heels - old (similar)

Hey guys, I'm finally back to blogging after a long hiatus.  It wasn't my intention to have a break for this long, but sometimes life happens and something has to give.  I'm so grateful for you guys  for sticking around!

This year has been somewhat of a roller coaster and I'm only starting to feel like my feet are firmly back on the ground.  I'm looking forward to getting back to doing the things I enjoy the most, one of those things being blogging and I hope you guys stick around for the ride :-)

Even though it was a bit windy today, I was so excited to get out and take photos of my outfit today. I stopped blogging in Summer and now all of a sudden its autumn, so I'm going to make the most out of dressing for this season even though I'm a spring/summer lover through and through.

This burgundy fit screams fall wear.  I saw this skirt while browsing Forever21 and feel in love with length, the pocket detail and side split, might I add I found this skirt to be too mature for Forever21,  But to my surprise they have been killing it lately, I recommend giving their website a look!

WINTER WISHLIST | COATS

Ah winter, we meet again.... this week there's been a sudden drop in temperature in the UK and it's finally starting to feel a little festive. Of course I love summer too, but there are plenty of reasons why I enjoy winter just as much! Firstly, Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year; markets, mulled wine, pretty lights, board games, friends, family, presents, (and let's not forget to mention the John Lewis ads).... what's not to like!? There's also that delightfully refreshing smell/taste/feel of a cold winter's morning, and SNOW! The excitement of snow is embedded into our brains at a young age in England, and I don't think that ever goes away.... grown men still lie in bed at night in the midst of winter wishing for a 'snow day'!

But most importantly, with crisp winter mornings comes knitwear, oversized jackets and ankle boots. Autumn/winter fashion is my favourite and I'm determined to treat myself to a new coat this year; I love the tie waist design of the three Cos styles above, and I'd really like a below the knee length. I've been doing a bit of research into other high street brands to see what's available as my budget is on the small side, but it's so hard to beat Cos's style, craftsmanship and elegance.

MAXI LENGTH BOILED WOOL COAT FROM ASOS, £95.00

ASOS do actually have an amazing range of coats; I love the simplicity and colour of this boiled wool style above, (though The Whitepepper do have a very similar design for £15.00 less FYI). I also really like this Duster Coat by ASOS shown below, which is only £60.00 - I'm not sure how warm it would be but you could easily layer it up with a cardigan underneath and a big scarf and still achieve that gorgeous long, slouchy silhouette. I'd love to wear it with a pair of white Adidas Stan Smiths or alternatively my DM shoes would work just fine.

DUSTER COAT FROM ASOS, £60

Surprisingly Topshop didn't have much to offer apart from this amazing Blanket Coat by Topshop Unique, which is a beautiful colour but sadly out of my price range. I did come across this gorgeous trench from Urban Outfitters shown below, which is cheaper but I don't like the epaulettes on the shoulders. Also for that price I may as well just go to Cos! I think I'm going to hold off for a while and treat myself in December - I can't see much that I like online but I'd like to pop into Zara, Warehouse and & Other Stories for a browse too! What sort of coat or jacket will you be wearing this winter?

Leaves

Leaf Top -  Persunmall
Trousers - £15 H&M
Clutch bag - £13 New Look
Heels - £45 River Island

I have leaves on my top and leaves on the ground, Autumn is here! The weather is actually ok, even though the sky is grey and we have occasional rain, its still warm (let me not jinx it!)

I love this statement leaf top,  I thought continuing with the black and white theme would make it pop.  I bought these trousers at the start of the year, was so upset when it wouldn't zip up, but happy now as it fits perfectly, meaning I lost a few pounds, yeah me!

Hey guys! So on Saturday I went to Miss Uganda for the first time.  It was my second pageant show and I must say I do enjoy all the glitz and glamour of it.  So of course you know I love Virgos Lounge and this event called for a VL type dress!  I fell in love with this skirt the moment I saw it.  I don't have anything like it in my wardrobe, and it is quite a mature look, but the crop top gave it a fresh young feel.

So I know you all get bored of my face lol ( Well I hope not!) but thought it would be nice to see another face on the blog.  My gorgeous little sis also wore the most beautiful VL dress, the detailing is absolutely stunning.

Hey guys, I hope your all well and enjoying summer, well what's left of it! I took some time out but I'm excited to be back.

The weather is really weird at the moment, its raining a lot, but at the same time quite humid so its quite difficult to decide what to wear!

I teamed up with Links of London for this post.  How gorgeous is my bracelet! it's a bit hard to see from these pictures, but I have my middle name Regina engraved on it.  I have always wanted my name engraved on a necklace or bracelet, but have never got round to doing it.

Asos has just announced their sale, never a good idea for the bank balance! I couldn't resist this colour dress before summer is officially out.

Happy Bank holiday guys! I'm using my extra day off to do wedding stuff and house work.  I'ts been raining all day so I'm wondering how everyone who has gone to Notting Hill Carnival is getting on!!

I wore this to church yesterday, church is becoming the only chance I actually get to dress up these days as my life is so busy.

This Asos dress was super popular last year in the green version, I spotted it on sale in red a year ago for only £30, It's beautiful and elegant, I have already worn it to a Christening and got so many compliments.

Turkey OOTD 4: Orange Maxi

Maxi - Asos sold out
Sandals - £12 Primark
Earrings - old

I love this dress! I actually wore it last year to my brothers Graduation which I posted on the blog.  This time round I wanted to try and make it casual, so I paired it with the sandals.  But this maxi is just too pretty to look anything but dressy.

I have a lovely giveaway coming out tomorrow too, look out for it x

Swimwear for Miami

I'm super excited to be going Miami in less than a week for 12 days!!  I have travelled all over the world but I have never been to America.  I did all my holiday shopping this week and now I need to spend the weekend packing.  I'm also moving houses the week I get back from Miami so I'm trying to do as much packing before I leave.

All these swimsuits are perfect for Miami, fun, colourful with quirky designs.  If you are from Miami or have been Miami any tips you can give would be great!
