Last Saturday my lovely housemate
Harriet and I enjoyed a morning out in North East London where we popped to The Whitepepper's sample sale before getting the train to Highbury and Islington and, as it was such a beautiful day, we walked home from there. It's only about a half hour walk but on our travels we stumbled across a great Vintage store on Holloway Road called
Blue 17. They have a great selection of vintage clothing, both men's and women's, and all at very reasonable prices; I did get myself a sleeveless roll neck for £10, (bargain), but I can't wait to go back again in the new year with more pennies to spend!
We spent our afternoon chilling in our pyjamas because it was too cold to go out, and then we made mexican and minced pies in the evening whilst watching Dracula, (weird film). It's awful at the moment because whenever I get invited to parties or events I end up just wanting to stay inside in the warm and watch films... oh winter! I'll have to sort myself out soon and stop being such a hermit.

As a thank you for helping out with a feature in their latest magazine, The Whitepepper kindly sent me a few bits from their new winter range; (definitely thought Christmas had come early)! One of the items I asked for was th
is amazing long, black shirt dress. It's super comfortable and flattering because it literally just falls off of my shoulders to my shins, showing off no lumps or bumps on the way down. Here I've worn it with black cotton tights, my Dr Martens and my new, long grey coat, which is also from The Whitepepper.

You may have already seen, but Matt and I recently had work published on Zeum online. Just in case you missed it though, here are my favourite images from the story, Park Life, and you can also see the full editorial on Zeum Magazine's website

I was recently sent this lovely little Laser Cut Petal Skirt by
Rare London. Although it's quite a dressy design I thought I'd have a go at styling it for a more casual look and wore it out on Saturday with a comfy roll neck and Dr Martens. I also tried out my new
LYCRA tights, which I discovered when told about the
#LegfieLove competition they're currently running - you can find out more about that
here. If I'm honest I really do love these tights - they're super flattering, excellent quality and warm too, so thanks
LYCRA!
I had another lazy weekend... on Friday night I stayed in and got tipsy with Matt and Harriet; we made hot dogs with curly fries then had the most delicious Gu cheesecake. On Saturday morning we got up, made scrambled eggs with avocado on toast then watched Boyhood before going for a walk in the afternoon. That night, surprise surprise it involves food again, we all made Mexican, (my favourite), and watched The Interview, which was actually pretty funny before the ending when it got a bit tedious. Today I managed to squeeze one more film in over lunch and watched Spike Jonze's
Scenes from the Suburbs. It was really lovely but also quite tragic and left me with a funny feeling or unease afterwards. I spent the rest of the afternoon working on a still life project with Matt. What did you get up to this weekend?
