Hey guys! So on Saturday I went to Miss Uganda for the first time. It was my second pageant show and I must say I do enjoy all the glitz and glamour of it. So of course you know I love Virgos Lounge and this event called for a VL type dress! I fell in love with this skirt the moment I saw it. I don't have anything like it in my wardrobe, and it is quite a mature look, but the crop top gave it a fresh young feel.
So I know you all get bored of my face lol ( Well I hope not!) but thought it would be nice to see another face on the blog. My gorgeous little sis also wore the most beautiful VL dress, the detailing is absolutely stunning.

Hey Guys, I'm finally back to blogging! It's been way to long. Miami was amazing, I got back over a week ago but I will post more about it in the next post. I totally forgot to mention that I had to move houses after I got back which meant more time away from the blog whilst living from a suitcase. I'm all settled in now and back to my routine.
My cousin got married on Friday and I wore this gorgeous Virgos Lounge dress, I got so many compliments. I remember a cute little girl who looked about 4 or 5 years old coming up to me and asked me 'Are you a fashion girl' hahaha too cute, I joked with my friend and said, I think this little girl can sense I have a fashion blog!lol
Also at the wedding I got reminded that it was me next, like 20 times! But it is starting to feel too close now, my African Introduction/Engagement party is less than two months away eekkk!

You know I was raving about Virgos Lounge just before my Birthday and wore this beautiful dress from there in this post
here . Well of course I couldn't just buy one item, so I browsed through their sale (they are quite pricey!) and found this lovely peplum top. The detail is everything! its peplum, zig zag, beaded and leather! and I haven't seen anyone else wearing it,so I had to get it.
I wanted to continue with the splash of white theme so I wore my comfy white wedges and can you believe this bag is only £12.50 and from Tesco supermarket out of all places!!! I was doing my usual food shop and passed the clothes section which I never look at, it was the only one left and was just staring at me.. Love at first sight haha
Its wedding season yeaahh!! I attended a wedding yesterday, it was a beautiful wedding and the weather behaved. The weeks leading up to the wedding I was on the hunt for the perfect dress and of course as us girls do I found a lot of options. Here are a few of my shortlisted dresses. I ended up picking something totally different which I will post next.

Other then going to work I have been very unproductive this week. I was actually really tired after too much celebrating and when I went back to work on Wednesday I also had a surprise birthday dinner to go to for a work colleague that night I got home at 3am and was up at 6am to go work!! I'm only truly recovered today.. think its old age hahaha

here, This is the stunning dress I picked. I felt like a princess with it on, all I can describe it as is perfect. It was longer than I thought if you compare it to be model wearing it, but I'm a lot shorter, but I didn't mind at all.
I also added a few pictures from the dinner, this is all my family, the people I spend most my time with. My boyfriend aka Photographer is at the back on the left in the group picture. My niece also helped me blow out my cake, well I had no choice really, kids LOVE blowing out candles lol ain't she cute :-)
Hey Guys, I hope you all had a lovely Easter. I had four days off and as always its gone to quick! back at work tomorrow.
As you can see I have changed my blog layout and name! I will make a separate post about it, but I hope you like it. It took me literally one week to change, I'm not much of a technical person, so its been a pretty frustrating and slow process. I took these pictures last week but had to put it on hold until I made most of the blog changes, I still have a few tweaks, but I'm really happy with it.
I wore this outfit last week on a dinner date with my boo, dressing up was long over due, so whipping out my fave but super comfortable heels was a must.
Virgos Lounge is hands down my favourite on line store. There is no other store like them or even similar. Their designs are so unique and vibrant. Some of their dresses remind me of the timeless dresses my mum use to wear in the 90's that you just don't really see around any more.
I actually bought my Birthday dress (which is next month) from here, I cant wait to wear it! now all I need is the perfect shoes to do the dress justice.
