So a couple of weeks ago i was invited to to participate in Make Up Store's S/S 13 launch event!



First i had my nails done with these hot pink nail caviar! Super pretty but you've to be really demure and careful with it else all of them will drop off before you even know it :(

Hair was teased and curled and teased and curled again then tied into a SUPER TIGHT high ponytail... Was giving me a headache all evening, ouch

Even though all the heat and products used on my hair was super, super damaging, i still kinda liked how much volume it added to my hair. See i have a high poufy bun! Super love!!! And i did it without any pins! Just twisted it around my ponytail and it stayed bwhahaha wish it would be as easy to do a poufy bun with my normal hair... :(



Easy hair bun aside, nobody likes super dry, tangled and crispy hair..... I had to condition my hair twice that night and it was still really dry. Look!



So i decided that a hair treatment is the only way to get back my soft and silky hair... You see, i have very little and fine hair so it's important to keep them nourished and healthy. Also, that will help reduce my hairfall problems!



So i went to Salon Vim the next day and they did a cocktail hair treatment for me! My hair instantly became softer and and noticeably, healther, shinier! My hair smells really good at the end of the treatment too so yay!



That's Lilian, my stylist blow drying my hair! She's really really easy to talk to and care so much for my hair! I actually wanted to colour + treat my hair that day but she told me not to because it's better to treat my tresses first, making it stronger and healthier before adding chemicals to it. So thank you Salon Vim! It was my first time there, and i'm definitely looking forward to the next appointment probably....next month? :D




Took these a couple of days after the treatment. See how soft and silky my hair was still! Plus the shine in my hair which also means it's healthy! If you are one who doesn't show any love for your hair, well you need to now. Nobody likes dry hair! Rough and dull hair are NOT sexy.

Just came back not long ago after spending 7 hours in the salon fixing my hair. Really pleased and happy with how my hair looks like now (will post pic soon!!) but that's not the point of my post today.

Gonna keep things short and sweet - I've been through quite a bit for the past year and i'm really thankful for all the people who care and have been taking such good care of me. I don't know what i did to deserve all that but i know i'm a lucky girl and i know i've to be grateful towards everything. All that happened made me want to work even harder, be better and do everyone proud. What i wanna tell everyone is that (and of course to remind myself), no matter how well you do in life, or how good you get treated, please always be humble and never get complacent and take things for granted because good things don't last and they don't come for free. One day all the good luck in your life will be used up but if you keep doing good, good things will naturally build up in your life and you'll just be happy eventually, and when you're happy, you will be lucky! I guess...? Hahaha

Not sure if i made any sense but i really do hope i'll make an impact in some of you out there reading this :)

I've been shopping (aimlessly) for the past couple of weeks and splurging on things that i feel guilty for buying now... Having a headache too cause i still do not know what to wear for cny :( I think it happens to everyone? So a tip to all of you out there who are doing your cny shopping right now and wants to get it done fast, plan and have an idea of what you wanna wear so you will only buy what you need first and and and don't splurge on something you don't really need just for the sake of cny!

Some of you asked me where i do my shopping at... Mmmm i shop at normal places like most of you do lor? Hahaha yesterday i went h&m and bought jeans and a knitted sweater! Oh there's so much knit wear at h&m right now it's crazy i wanna buy them allllll. Then over to topshop wanting to buy shoes but couldn't decide what to get so i got myself accessories. Then to zara to get a pair of printed pants! Wanted to buy this super cute cropped long sleeves top but it's over a hundred bucks and i see myself wearing it once only so i didn't get it in the end :( A lil upset but pats back yay that i didn't cave in and splurge on it!!!! Btw zara has a pretty good section of shoes on sale now but be quick cause i think sizes are all running out!

My new heels was giving me blisters ugh


Attended the EML TV premiere last friday at Cassis! Do you know the whole Elite Model Look competition will be compiled and be aired on the Channel 5 and StarWorld few weeks later? Hehe we watched the preview last week and god, i don't know if it's just me but everytime i see my face on the screen, i cringed. Sigh. Haha aiya but still looking forward to seeing the whole show!!! ✌ ✌ ✌

But i failed and couldn't look like who i want to be all the time :(


I've come to conclusion after typing out this post, that, make up gurus shouldn't be so good looking. They should look bad, and then look good after the make up. So we will look as good as them after too! Right right make sense right??? I get sad and pissed sometimes after i've done my make up because i don't look as pretty as how they are but then i realised later that it's just my face...........
