Ah finally my long overdue CNY post hahaha hello!!! Is it just me or has CNY slowly getting boring over the years...? Nonetheless i still love all the dressing up, receiving ang pows and non-stop eating and gambling during this festive period!



OOTD for the first day! I realised so many people around me wore cheongsam this year... Gawd i need to be more feminine and stop being the odd pie.

Was at my gram's and was bored to teaaars. Nothing good was showing on the tv lor omg...... So Jens came to my rescue and we waited for the rest to arrive and had like... close to 5 hours of gambling straight at his place yay!

OOTD for the second day!



Had 2 house visitings that day.... I swear my aunts love me like crazy. Kept on feeding me food so all i did that day was eat and eat and eat. How to not get fat?! T_T



Went over to Jens's to meet him then off we went for dinner at Hua Ting restaurant with his family & relatives!




Then it was gambling round 2. See this zeng keh with a pile of notes!!!!!!!!



Ban luck/ mahjong until everyone was mad tired and dying to go home. So Jens and i went back and bought mcbreakfast.........yups eat again lor?



No OOTD on the third day cause it was dinner at my place = no need to dress up and put make up bwahahaha

Then on the fifth day, which was also Valentines day, Jens was already in camp but he was granted permission for a night out so we met at our favourite sushi place - Itacho for dinner! I was happy to see him but also sad because we only had about 1.5 hours for dinner before he had to rush back to camp -_-



Sent him off in a cab and came home to this.
I never understand flowers. It's expensive and it dies SO quickly.
But i was happy anyway. :)

Went for a casting and had a mini catch up with E last week! Have fun in BKK i miss you already!

Nothing much interesting happened after.... Went back to work and forcing myself to study which umm wasn't successful at all. Sigh where can i find the motivation to sit still and study?! :(


ANYWAY i'll be having a booth at Re/store 2 flea at the pit building on 16 of March! FINALLY. I know right?! I've been wanting to sell my clothes since last year and i know a few of you have been asking for it and now I CAN FINALLY DO SO!!! So please come down anytime from 12-7 ok? Will have a more detailed post on that soon (and maybe some sneaks if i've time?) but please follow my twitter and instagram cause i'll definitely update more over there!

So a couple of weeks ago i was invited to to participate in Make Up Store's S/S 13 launch event!



First i had my nails done with these hot pink nail caviar! Super pretty but you've to be really demure and careful with it else all of them will drop off before you even know it :(

Hair was teased and curled and teased and curled again then tied into a SUPER TIGHT high ponytail... Was giving me a headache all evening, ouch

Even though all the heat and products used on my hair was super, super damaging, i still kinda liked how much volume it added to my hair. See i have a high poufy bun! Super love!!! And i did it without any pins! Just twisted it around my ponytail and it stayed bwhahaha wish it would be as easy to do a poufy bun with my normal hair... :(



Easy hair bun aside, nobody likes super dry, tangled and crispy hair..... I had to condition my hair twice that night and it was still really dry. Look!



So i decided that a hair treatment is the only way to get back my soft and silky hair... You see, i have very little and fine hair so it's important to keep them nourished and healthy. Also, that will help reduce my hairfall problems!



So i went to Salon Vim the next day and they did a cocktail hair treatment for me! My hair instantly became softer and and noticeably, healther, shinier! My hair smells really good at the end of the treatment too so yay!



That's Lilian, my stylist blow drying my hair! She's really really easy to talk to and care so much for my hair! I actually wanted to colour + treat my hair that day but she told me not to because it's better to treat my tresses first, making it stronger and healthier before adding chemicals to it. So thank you Salon Vim! It was my first time there, and i'm definitely looking forward to the next appointment probably....next month? :D




Took these a couple of days after the treatment. See how soft and silky my hair was still! Plus the shine in my hair which also means it's healthy! If you are one who doesn't show any love for your hair, well you need to now. Nobody likes dry hair! Rough and dull hair are NOT sexy.

Just came back not long ago after spending 7 hours in the salon fixing my hair. Really pleased and happy with how my hair looks like now (will post pic soon!!) but that's not the point of my post today.

Gonna keep things short and sweet - I've been through quite a bit for the past year and i'm really thankful for all the people who care and have been taking such good care of me. I don't know what i did to deserve all that but i know i'm a lucky girl and i know i've to be grateful towards everything. All that happened made me want to work even harder, be better and do everyone proud. What i wanna tell everyone is that (and of course to remind myself), no matter how well you do in life, or how good you get treated, please always be humble and never get complacent and take things for granted because good things don't last and they don't come for free. One day all the good luck in your life will be used up but if you keep doing good, good things will naturally build up in your life and you'll just be happy eventually, and when you're happy, you will be lucky! I guess...? Hahaha

Not sure if i made any sense but i really do hope i'll make an impact in some of you out there reading this :)
