OUTFIT | NEW DRESS FROM THE WHITEPEPPER!

As a thank you for helping out with a feature in their latest magazine, The Whitepepper kindly sent me a few bits from their new winter range; (definitely thought Christmas had come early)! One of the items I asked for was this amazing long, black shirt dress. It's super comfortable and flattering because it literally just falls off of my shoulders to my shins, showing off no lumps or bumps on the way down. Here I've worn it with black cotton tights, my Dr Martens and my new, long grey coat, which is also from The Whitepepper.

WINTER PASTELS | LAVISH ALICE

It's funny, when looking at my work it seems I have a real love of colour, (I like working around colour when styling as it keeps my ideas focussed and also ties images together, keeping everything consistent). Yet in reality there are very few pops of colour in my wardrobe.

When the brand Lavish Alice asked if I'd like to review something from their winter range however, I couldn't help but notice this super cool pair of pale pink, wide leg trousers. I like that although they're pink, the colour is still very soft and neutral, and they're a fabulous fit too! They literally just fall from the waist - I can't wait to use them in a photoshoot! I can also picture myself wearing them out to a club with a cropped tee or tucked in blouse and heels. Here I've styled them in a more casual way though with a slouchy jumper, picked up from a charity shop in Crouch End, and my beloved Dr Martens.

DM are actually running an offer this weekend which saves you £25 when you spend £125 or more online; simply head over to the Dr Martens website and use the discount code DMBLACK14 at the checkout! The code expires at Midnight this Monday... go go go!

RIBBED JUMPER, £4.50 FROM A CHARITY SHOP

Candy Colours

Skirt - £20 Missguided (Similar one here)
Jumper - £21 Missguided
Heels - £12 Primark

This has got to be one of my favourite outfits of the year simply because I love the colours! saying that about an outfit worn in winter says a lot!!

I posted this skirt in my Missguided wishlist a few posts back, I was a bit worried about the pvc material as I have never worn a skirt in this material,  but I love it, although I would recommend a size up for a bit more space especially if you have some junk in your trunk :-).

This jumper is as fluffy and soft as it looks in the picture.  Normally I'm weary of fluffy jumpers because they itch like hell and if your wearing it all day that's a lot of itching lol, I'm pleased to say this jumper is itch free and its so so warm.

Brighten Up Your Black Friday With Pink!

I needed to get ready in a rush this morning. The turkey made me so tired last night that I just couldn't think! So, I waited until this morning to determine what to wear. No plan in place whatsoever....

To be totally and completely honest with you, I rarely plan my outfit the night before. Occasionally I will have a day that I have the energy to set aside a weeks worth of looks, but I seem to always change up each look when the day comes. Much to everyone's surprise I usually come up with my best looks while picturing my closet in the shower with my eyes shut.

Today my look is simple because I had to think quick. It's Black Friday and I work in retail so I needed to get out the door fast in order to get to work and become one of Santa's elves.

SHOP my complete look!

Today TALBOTS is taking 50% off any one regular price item until noon and 40% off everything else that you buy! Now don't you think it's a good time to start shopping for the holidays?! Don't forget to pick up a little something for yourself too....

My lovely necklace can be found at my online vintage shop The Canny Canary by clicking HERE.
I love how this one sparkles! And if you hurry, you can get this one at 50% off too by using code GIVEVINTAGE at checkout! The offer ends at noon!

A RAINY SUNDAY IN LONDON

Yesterday was so miserable that I almost couldn't bring myself to leave the house! It rained all day and was absolutely freezing... but a bit of fresh air never hurt anyone so Matt and I did pop to Crouch End for a bit in the afternoon.

I wore my M Missoni dress underneath a black roll neck, (which I've been living in recently), with tights and DMs. I then layered up with my favourite forest green coat and a beanie hat - I've actually gone off this hat recently though so I'm hoping to get a new one for Christmas;) I also wore my new Daniel Wellington watch*, which is a lovely, simple leather design. This week you can treat yourself to 15% off of any DW design with the discount code fashionyourseatbelts - enjoy!

Heart Shirt

Heart Shirt - $20 c/o Persunmall
Skirt - £6 Primark
Heels - Zara

Happy Sunday guys.  How cute is the heart shirt! I have seen it on a few celebs and have loved it since, when I saw it in Persunmall I knew I had to get it.

Winter is now truly upon us, so no more bare legs for me anymore :-(

Mad For Plaid

Today I went little mad for plaid. The holiday season tends to make me do that. I spotted this J. Crew blouse on a fellow bloggers site that I admire and immediately fell in love. I wasn't sure if it would be too masculine for me with my short hair, but as it turns out,  J. Crew blouses fit me too a T. They seem to be fitted enough therefore it doesn't look like I am wearing a man's shirt. I was still questioning the blouse until I also spotted these gorgeous statement earrings from Talbots. They are the perfect accessory to feminize my look!

This gorgeous sterling silver vintage green stone Sarah Coventry ring I am wearing came from my online boutique, The Canny Canary. You can shop this ring by clicking right HERE. I must warn you that there is only one! Vintage is so unique!

Burgundy Hues

 Skirt - Forever21
Heels - old (similar)

Hey guys, I'm finally back to blogging after a long hiatus.  It wasn't my intention to have a break for this long, but sometimes life happens and something has to give.  I'm so grateful for you guys  for sticking around!

This year has been somewhat of a roller coaster and I'm only starting to feel like my feet are firmly back on the ground.  I'm looking forward to getting back to doing the things I enjoy the most, one of those things being blogging and I hope you guys stick around for the ride :-)

Even though it was a bit windy today, I was so excited to get out and take photos of my outfit today. I stopped blogging in Summer and now all of a sudden its autumn, so I'm going to make the most out of dressing for this season even though I'm a spring/summer lover through and through.

This burgundy fit screams fall wear.  I saw this skirt while browsing Forever21 and feel in love with length, the pocket detail and side split, might I add I found this skirt to be too mature for Forever21,  But to my surprise they have been killing it lately, I recommend giving their website a look!

Floral Bomber Jacket

Floral Bomber Jacket - £25 c/o She Likes
                                                                                                       Jeans - H&M
                                                                                                 Heels - £12 Primark
                                                                                                    Vest Top - £4

Hey guys, I hope your all well.  I wore this outfit on Monday to celebrate me and my boo's anniversary.  We went to probably the most visually appealing restaurant I have been to, Shaka Zulu in Camden.  Although I love how the restaurants looks I think the food is quite average.

As I was still a bit sick I wanted to dress warm and comfy but still look dressy.  I wore pretty basic trousers and a vest top, but my floral bomber jacket gave the outfit more life.  I have actually been looking for a girly bomber jacket for a while, so this one came right on time.

BEYOND RETRO X SAVE THE CHILDREN

This year I've teamed up with vintage brand Beyond Retro to help spread charitable, (and festive), love in conjunction with Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day. Beyond Retro have pledged to sell 10,000 Christmas jumpers in the lead up to the big day and will be donating £1 from each sale to Save the Children.

To support them in their generous endeavor simply head over to Beyond Retro, (online or in-store), and purchase yourself a snuggly, possibly ugly, festive knit to sport this Christmas Jumper Day. Beyond Retro actually have a pop-up store at Old Street station at the moment which is dedicated entirely to Christmas jumpers, so perhaps you could even treat yourself to a visit there when searching for your new wooly friend! Once in your knit, be sure to enter their #xmasjumperstylechallenge, where you could win a £250 shopping spree! All you need to do is make sure you're following Beyond Retro on Twitter and Instagram then snap yourself in your new Christmas jumper alongside the hashtag above!

Last weekend I got into the Christmas spirit perhaps a little early and wore my new festive jumper into central where I had a wonder down Carnaby Street, which is looking super pretty at the moment with all of it's lights up. I also treated myself to a magazine haul from one of the fabulous magazine shops hidden in London's trendy Soho! Just a tip about Soho, there's a great cocktail bar called Zebrano, which has happy hour till 10pm most evenings;)
