MEOW | NEW CAT DRESS FROM BLACKFIVE

I was recently sent this adorable dress by BlackFive! Covered in cats, (oh my gosh I want a cat so badly), this fun little number is sure to add charm to your summer wardrobe, and it's super soft and comfy too! What I will say however, is that the design is very short, so I would not reccomend it to anyone over 5'5", or maybe if you are taller you could order a size up as you'll probably gain more length then too!

AN AFTERNOON IN TAVISTOCK

I spent this weekend in Devon after travelling down on Thursday to surprise my Mum on her birthday! On the Friday we went into Tavistock, the town where I grew up, and Matt and I went to my favourite restaurant for lunch. Robertson's is a great little organic place which does the most amazing chocolate milkshakes and delicious healthy food! I had an avocado sandwich and Matt had pork and fennel lasagne, yum.

After lunch, (and after a quick trip to a phone shop to sort out my brand new iPhone 5S, eee), we went for a walk in the park, met my "little" brother and went on the swings for a while! We then met my Mum and sister with the dog before heading home for a cosy night in, (for it then rained for most of the weekend).

VINTAGE SHORTS
DR MARTENS SHOES

I was wearing my lovely vintage, patterned blouse that I got at the Mero Retro event a while ago; I love the pretty collar and length of the sleeves!

SHOPPING & CUPCAKES WITH MERO RETRO

A few months ago, (wow talk about a late post), I was invited by the lovely Julia of Stylonylon to a vintage party at Mero Retro in Clapton. Also accompanied by Leigh of Fox & Feather, Jaclyn of Bumpkin Betty and Paula of The P-Ho Diaries, we were all treated to a delightful spring afternoon of personalised cupcakes, Prosecco and vintage shopping. I picked up an adorable collared blouse, (shown below), i'll be sure to get an outfit post featuring this up soon!

Treat yourself to 15% off of Mero Retro's online store now by putting the discount code "Fashion your Seatbelts" in at the checkout!

BACK TO WORK

Ah, so the long Easter weekend is now over and it's back to work/education for us all! I spent the last day of holiday styling a menswear photoshoot…. just a test out and about in Shoreditch with quite a cool, urban feel. I also went to the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen near Old Street station for a late lunch, we had cocktails and mexican food, yum!

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY LEFTOVER EASTER EGGS….

PHOTOGRAPHS BY MATT LAIN & TONI CAROLINE

HAPPY EASTER!

On Thursday evening before my beautiful long weekend started, (I wish every weekend had four days), I left work and headed to Essex for a wedding reception. I wore this fabulous new sparkly dress from Front Row Shop, my new favourite shopping destination - seriously! I actually ordered a size larger than normal for a more relaxed, oversized fit; I love the thickness of the fabric as it gives the skirt a bit of structure, and the texture is fab too!

Front Row Shop have an absolutely stunning selection of modern, unique and "minimal" designs so are definitely worth checking out - I can't believe I hadn't come across their website before! I just really love the overall look of their brand, from the chic, simplistic designs to the clean, fresh product photography - you'll definitely be hearing more about them from me! So…. this post wasn't really about Easter but I hope everyone's having a lovely long weekend and eating lots of chocolate!

SPRING SUNDAE

Happy Easter weekend everyone! I just wanted to share some of my recent work with you… Matt and I recently shot the beautiful Evelina from Established Models. I styled her in The Whitepepper, Quay Australia, JuJu Jellies and Lot78 using a palette of white, grey, pink and blue for a real "spring feel"; I hope you like it! By the way I post all of my work on my tumblr, so feel free to follow me if you're interested! http://tonicarolineogle.tumblr.com

SILVER

Check out these beautiful silver brogues by Red or Dead! I'm never really sure how to wear metallics but I rather like the simplicity of these paired with an otherwise quite boring and ordinary outfit. Here I also wore a sparkly jumper to compliment my new shoes and spread sparkles throughout the entire look! How do you like to wear your metallics?

Is anyone else desperate for the long weekend to begin!? 4 day weekend, woohoo! :)

PIGTAILS & BOWS

Last Sunday I spent the morning relaxing and catching up on emails before heading out in the afternoon to help with a friend's lookbook shoot. I wore one of my favourite dresses from Asos, with a collar, a cardigan, and these adorable new bow brogues from Olive and Frank. (You can get them in burgundy too!)

Oh by the way I need a little hair help - I can't decide whether or not to cut my fringe back in… (if you haven't noticed already this is an endless debate I have with myself)… what do you think? Fringe or no fringe?

SPARKLES IN SPRING

I was kindly send this delightfully sparkly dress from Lashes of London a while ago, but I've only just gotten around to photographing it. To be honest, I found it a little tricky to style. My usual look is a lot less dressy so I really struggled to pull an outfit together whilst still looking like "me". Last weekend however I had a sudden brain wave and found myself really wanting to wear it…. double sparkles! Here I've worn it with my "signature" collar poking out from underneath and a pair of glittery shoes!

A GIRLY EVENING OUT

A few weeks ago Next held an all day event to show off their latest summer collection. I met Harriet after work and we headed over to the rather lovely Soho hotel, where we were greeted with smiles, cake, sandwiches, bubbly and an exclusive, close-up look at their new range! Some of my favourite bits were the more sporty inspired pieces like below - I think Next do sporty very well actually, and I always enjoy their events!

I also had my hair done and had a larger wave put in… my hair definitely looks better either dead-straight or loosely curled, it looks awful in-between, which unfortunately is how it naturally falls! I'm finding it rather annoying now that it's longer - I never even considered that "frizz" could be a problem…. now my hair is frizzy as soon as I step out of my front door! Does anyone know of any good products to handle this?

After our time with Next, we moved on to Marc Cain's press event, which was being held in their offices down Great Portland street. I'd never actually heard of the brand before Jaclyn told me about them and their UK launch, but at the event they had the most amazing collection of coats! Their shoes were also beautiful; make sure you check out their site here.

We were treated to very extravagant cocktails, delicious canapés, and we got to try on their latest collection - I did try on an oversized, navy coat that I fell in love with! Not wanting to end the fun there however, Harriet and I then headed over to Bryon for a burger as Harriet had a free food voucher. I literally couldn't move by the end of the evening… I'd maybe had a little too much fun/food for one night! ;)
