This post is a little different to my normal post's as I only usually post what I actually wore out, I never just get dressed up to shoot pictures as I think fashion blogs should be about real wearable fashion.
Tonight will be the first time since I was 18 not to go to a NYE rave or big party, I'm actually going to a small onsie party! I found the concept of a onsie party a bit different, knowing that there will be a bunch of grown guys walking around in onsies will be a funny sight, so hey why not!
So this post is inspired as a 'would be' NYE outfit. The sparkles and glitter is so new years eve. I always go all out with my NYE outfits, it should be all about sparkles, bright colours and fun. I actually bought this dress about two years ago, it was dirt cheap probably about £5, the sparkles drew me in! I don't know why it's been sitting in my wardrobe all this time, I cant wait to actually wear it out now.
I hope you guys like my outfit, I'm sure all your outfits will be amazing!! I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and hope you have a wonderful time whatever you do tonight. See you in 2013.

Every girl has there 'LDB' that they turn to when they have nothing to wear or want to keep it simple, this is mine. I have actually had this dress for about 4 years and at only £13 it works wonders! it clinches everything in, only if the pictures were clearer the material is actually similar to a Herve Leger dress.
I wore this outfit on a night out on Saturday, I kept it simple with black and gold, I haven't worn my body chain since Morocco with casual outfits, so I wanted to try it with a dressy look. I hope you like it.
Jacket - Borrowed
Clutch - £6 Primark
Hat - £ £10 H&M
I wore this outfit on Sunday, I actually didn't wear it for long as I was on my way to a family photo shoot. I didn't completely change out of the outfit, I wore the dress, I just took off the tights and jacket and changed into heels (you can see the heels in this
post). You might also recognise this dress from the boat party post (
here), as you can see from this post I paired the dress with pieces that gave it a more day look.
The family photo shoot was amazing, about 15 of us came, yes my family is massive! it was such a great family day out. I paid only £20 from a Groupon deal that would of normally cost £300 for such a big family!
Some of you may have noticed that my blog has had a mini revamp, I hope you like it! I was initially going to pay someone to do it for me but I thought let me just save some money and search for tutorials myself. Taaa daa I have learnt some new skills and saved some money in the process, win win situation. If you would like to know the tutorials I used I will be sure to add them to my next post. GIVE AWAY TIME!
To celebrate my blog turning one, I'm hosting a Diamond Petal give away to win £30 to spend on anything you want in the store. To enter all you need to do is:

I can't believe I haven't blogged for a week, were the heck did time go seriously! I did however go to the gym more than usual last week (pat on the back) which kind of took over.
I wore this outfit to yet another surprise party I threw, I now think of myself as the surprise party guru, future career maybe??! This time it was for my little brothers 23rd birthday in a Ugandan restaurant.
I having been itching to wear this dress since I bought it back in January, its definitely a statement dress with the bright yellow colour and bold black slashes. It fits like a treat, the only thing I probably will do is make it slightly shorter, maybe knee length before I wear it again.
Jeans - £12 Primark

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week has got off to a good start :-) This is what I wore on Friday to see the last installment of Twilight. It is definitely a must see, I cant believe its finally over, oh how time flies.
I'm loving this over sized cardy from Missguided, its so comfy. My new boots are going to be stuck to my feet for a while they are just so comfortable and give me a lot of height....perfect combination.
Look who we have here.. little old me in Look magazine! (no pun intended hehe) When I first started this blog almost a year ago I never would of thought to see my face in a magazine. When I found out I wanted to scream the office down with all the excitement. It's safe to say I couldn't wait to tell my friends and family. I had such a fat grin on my face when I went to buy the magazine :-)
The feature was on how to wear Checkered items, you can see my post on it
here.

Look what we have here... some outside shots! It felt really weird taking pictures outside again, I wish I could take them more often but when I get home its too dark. This is what I wore yesterday during the day when I was out and about. There is nothing I love more then throwing on a pair of jeans and t shirt, working in an office were you cant dress like this makes me miss it even more!
It was me and my boyfriends 8th, yes 8th anniversary yesterday, gosh time flies. So in the evening I changed into something a bit more dressy and we headed for dinner at a Mexican restuarant and finally watched Skyfall which is amazing by the way! Did you guys have a good weekend? x

Sorry I have been a bit MIA lately,I have had a lot going on with work, but what has mostly been keeping me busy was; until the weekend gone, planning a surprise party for my cousin. I enjoy planning parties and even planned a surprise party for my mums 40th a couple years ago. I planned a small dinner for 25 in a private room in Turkish restaurant It was perfect, when the birthday girl walked in she was so shocked that she walked back out hehe best reaction ever!
This is what I wore to the dinner. This H&M dressing is amazing, I fell in love the minute I saw it. Maybe I'm a little too in love with it, but I could see it on the red carpet! I added a neon bag and matching earrings also from H&M. I have a H&M near my work place so always buy in store, I just had a look on their site to provide links for each item but they don't have them online. I find this a lot on the H&M site which is quite frustrating but all items are in store now.
I have a few ideas of also wearing this dress a bit more casual with converses and litas, its definitely going to be one of my winter staples.
Door knocker earrings - £2 Primark
This post is so late! I have been coming home at 10 pm every day, hence no outfit post this week. These pictures were taken at a faboulous white boat party I went to on the Thames for a friends birthday on Saturday. I never realised untill this party that I only own one white dress!! The party was amazing and being on a boat just added a glamourous element to it. We kept joking to everyone that we were going to P diddys boat party haha
I hope you like what I wore. I included some iPhone pictures at the bottom just so you can see how lovely it was on the boat and of course me getting my pose on. I also love the picture of my cousin in her long white dress, doesn't she look like shes on a catwalk!

Hello Shorter hair! so yeah my extensions lasted only a week and a half! As much as I loved them they always start feeling heavy and I always miss my own hair, it was fun while it lasted. I took the plunge and dip dyed my own hair. I love it, but as I thought it has taken a toll on my ends and their super dry at the moment, Hopefully a few conditioning sessions will do the job.
I wore this yesterday to run a few errands, it was raining like mad yesterday, as you can see my umbrella has made a little appearance in my bag, probably not the last one either...sigh.

I love this crop top, and since I wore it in May in this post
here, I have been wanting to wear it again. When I bought this peplum skirt the idea for this outfit came straight away, all I needed was somewhere to go!
I wore this on Saturday to celebrate Uganda's 50th Independence, I may not have mentioned before but I'm half Ugandan.

Hey guys, hope your all well! As you may have noticed I have added some extensions to my hair. I have been wanting to dip dye my ends, but there dry as it is and didn't want to risk damaging them. When I decided to get extensions I thought why not change it up even more and go really long! when my hair is out it covers my whole back.
This is what I wore to work today, my most relaxed look at work. I didn't sleep at home last night, which was very last minute. with no fresh clothes to wear to work, I took the opportunity to raid through my cousins wardrobe and borrowed her lovely checkered top.
